Pitt-Easy implant screw

Pitt-Easy implant screw
One of the characteristics of the Pitt-Easy implant screw that its self-tapping thread is deepening from servical to apical. The advantage of this feature is that less twist is needed when implanting the screw, it is usually in its place with only 4-5 twists.
The body of the implant narrows conically, while the outer thread diameter of the cylinder remains the same, providing better primary stability to the implant.
There’s an apical cutting notch that collects bone splinters and prevents the rotation of the screw after osseointegration.
The screw has got a deep hex connection hole, that prevents the prosthetic components from rotation. The screw is implanted into the bone through the usual (and already described) surgical intervention and will be left for 4-6 months to allow ossification and healing.
