Secondary telescope crown

The telescope crowns are also hidden fastenings. Telescopic denture can be made if there are only 1-3 remaining teeth on the jawbone and they are so stable that it’s unnecessary to remove them but they are not enough to have a hidden anchorage partial denture installed on them – in this case the telescopic system can function well. The easiest way to imagine the telescopic system is to compare them with Matryoshka dolls with only two dolls – a smaller and a larger. The secondary crown supposed to be the larger doll which is fixed in the denture. This clicks onto the primary crown thus ensuring (by the friction) that the denture is in place and not letting the denture to move during chewing. The secondary telescope crown can be made of gold as well, but the golden crown needs to be soldered to the metal baseplate by using a special material in a special way.
