Sinus-lift operation

In case of an extensive bone defect or if the patient has a very deep maxillary sinus, then its bottom has to be lifted at a few places and several grams of bone grafting is needed – the surgery may not be successful.
To protect the bone grafting, affixing a membrane is also needed. This is a more extensive surgery, a more complex sinus lifting.
